Pumkin Farm 10/07

Feeding the Animals
Riding the barrell train... sadly he only got to ride once. :(
Grace enjoying the pumpkin farm too...
He actually stopped to smile in front of a pumpkin in the field!
We went to Maize Valley in Hartville and it was fun. A bit pricy but that's how things are now-a-days :) They had a playground and tire stack he loved in addition to a pile of straw that had tunnels in it Turns out he's quite the climber. We went with my friend Jennifer and her two kids. Tyler just loves her daugter who's about a year older than him. We took the hayride right as it was getting dark and it was LONG, then they left us to get our pumpkins and we were swarmed by mosquitoes waiting for the next ride to come along and when it did that driver said we were supposed to have walked across the pumpkin field to have them weighed but he guessed he would take us. We had grace in her carseat, Tyler, two pumpkins and the diaper bag, Jen is 20 weeks pregnant, has a 19 month old and 3 year old, it's dark out and no lights- um, yea Mr. you are taking us! He made three stops along the corn maze to let kids out so by the time we got back to the main area the last train ride was out. We didn't know until the lady came by and said- sorry, no more rides. I was standing there with Grace and Tyler and Aubrey while Jen, Jack and Gary had gone to weigh the pumkins. Both kids started crying but quickly ran to the hay to climb so it was alright. Tyler had a wonderful time and loves his pumpkins on the front porch!
